Northeast Controls Company History
Our company was originally established in 1967 by Daniel J. Dinzik as Northeast Controls, Inc.
Previously, Dan had worked as a sales representative for Control Associates, the first
Fisher Representative that was originally established in New York city in 1933.
In 1967, Dan was appointed the exclusive representative in Eastern New York, Western Massachusetts, and Southern Vermont for the Fisher Governor Company and incorporated Northeast Controls. Our company’s representation of Fisher, process control expertise, and local customer service support contributed to the company’s continued growth and success.
In 1985, Michael J. Peters purchased control of the company. In 1987, the company acquired the territorial responsibility of Process Management, Inc. of Buffalo, New York, extending our geographic coverage to include all of Western, New York.
In 1992, Emerson purchased Fisher Controls.
In 2001, the name Fisher-Rosemount is changed to Emerson Process Management.
In 2007, Northeast Controls celebrates its 40th successful year in business. In December 2007, Mike Peters retires after a 37 year career with Fisher and Northeast Controls.
In 2008, David J. Rizzo is appointed as the third President of Northeast Controls and purchases control of the company. Northeast Controls’ senior management team includes Dan Shea, - Vice President of Sales; Sue Johnson - Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer; David Pellington – Services Manager,; and Steve Sabia – Account Manager and Inside Sales Manager.
